Chardham Yatra has its own endless significance among Hindus.Hindu,having grown in age,and after fulfilling all family responsibilities,He chooses to spend the rest of his life in devotion to the Lord,so that he can get rid of the yoni chakra.Chardham Yatra is one way of doing this,and therefore very important for Hindus.Meaning of Chardham.The four abode of the Lord,and Yatra means “to travel”.Hence,Char Dham Yatra has a combined importance The journey that takes you to the presence of the Almighty God, where all your sins are forgiven, where your soul melds with the Supreme Brahman, and where youextricate yourself from the circle of life.Death”.According to Hindu mythology,there are four such places.Where the gods reside at all times.That’s why we call these places as Dhams.

These four places are:-

KEDARNATH:-In Kedarnath we worship Shambhu.The place is in Uttarakhand.

BADRINATH:-Badrinath is the holy divine land of the almighty Lord Vishnu.The place is Uttarakhand.

YAMUNOTRI:-This is the place where we worship Yamuna Devi.She is as pure as the Ganges river.Yamuna Devi is the sister of Yama,the god of death,the god of justice “Saturn” and the king of all planets,”Surya”.This is the origin of the river Yamuna.It is situated at an altitude of 3,293 meters in Garhwal.The Himalayas and located about 30 km north of Uttarkashi,which is the headquarters of Uttarkashi district in the Garhwal division of Uttarakhand.

GANGOTRI:-Gangotri is the place where the holy river Ganges originates.According to Hindu mythology,the Ganges was the first river of heaven,But the devotion of King Bhagirath took him to earth.According to our sacred idols,the Ganges incredibly gives the water the power to heal many diseases,And at the same time you will get rid of all your sins.This place is in Uttarakhand and on the banks of Bhagirathi river.Now,it is time to know some interesting and unknown facts about Char Dham.

5 INTRESTING AND UNKNOWN FACTS ABOUT CHAR DHAM:-This is less known than very interesting facts about Chardham Yatra.This is really shocking.But,it is true according to our various ancient books.All those books claim the claim of Lord Badri.What we see today,and where we see today.According to the belief,many years ago, the Raja of Garhwal shifted the place of Badri Teerth to that place.where we see it today.Actually,Adi Guru Shankaracharya had discovered the original temple.The original temple was present in the Garuda caves.According to the belief,the original idol of Lord Badri,found in the 8th century,had disappeared on its own.Later,Saint Ramanujacharya re-established the idol here,but this time also the idol disappeared.Later in the 16th century the Raja of Garhwal built the temple and investigated the idol there.Hence,before the development of this temple,people used to worship Lord Badri in the Garuda cave.

YOU CAN’T BLOW THE CONCH IN BADRINATH:-You are strictly not allowed to blow conch in Badrinath.Even you cannot carry conch shell with you.If you carry a conch shell,the temple authorities will not allow you to enter the temple at any cost.By the way,conch shell is very auspicious for every worship.But Badrinath is the only place where conch shell is not auspicious.There is an interesting story behind it.According to Hindu mythology,the conch is the abode of the demon Vatapi.And if one blows a conch shell in Badrinath,the demon can come out of it and spread evil forces everywhere.Also,according to the belief,it is the place of meditation for Lord Vishnu,and blowing the conch can distract him.Therefore blowing of conch is prohibited there.

BADRINATH WAS RELETED TO SHIVA ANCIENTLY:-There is another interesting fact about Badrinath.According to our various idols,both Shiva and Vishnu wanted this place for meditation,But Vishnu took the form of a child and started crying.As a result,both Shiva and Parvati went to Kedarnath.
